Our Story: From Yerevan to Watertown
A story of dreams, passion and culinary excellence. Originating as a small family-owned establishment, Jana Grill has evolved into a gastronomic sanctuary known for its rustic charm and rich, flavorful dishes. The Keryan family's journey from the ancient Yerevan in Armenia, to the historic Belmont, Massachusetts in pursuit of the American dream serves as the inspiring genesis of Jana Grill. Shortly after settling in their new humble home, yearning for a community, a weekly tradition of backyard gatherings of family, friends and new acquaintances was born. Charcoal grilled entrees, selection of salads and appetizers, music and occasional dances. The community kept growing unlike the size of the backyard. Their dedication, passion and hard work culminated in the birth of now beloved eatery, nine years after their relocation. The story of immigrants creating home away from home is the very fabric of Jana, welcoming all from every walk of life since 2018.
